We help each learner read at or above their developmental level, and experience success, joy and a life-long love of reading.

Company Profile

Keys Learning, LLC was founded by Ricki Linksman, one of the nation's leading experts on reading and accelerated learning. She is the author of numerous books and instructional resources on the subjects of reading and accelerated learning. She is the founder/director of the National Diagnostics Reading Institute in Naperville, IL. Over the past 30 years she has taught at every educational level: Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, High School and University.

Until recently, Keys to Reading Success™ was only available in print form and directly from the author. It has been used in schools throughout the country to help students -- especially those who have struggled with reading -- to read at or above grade level in months! Now, Keys to Reading Success is available online to everyone.

Two Local Schools Raise State Test Scores in Months to Make AYP Using Keys to Reading Success

Good news amidst reports of thousands of schools on probation for not making AYP—two area schools in high poverty, high minority districts have raised state ISAT reading test scores to make AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) using Keys to Reading Success™ for an average of six to eight months.

Fairmont School District #89 in Lockport, Illinois, had not made AYP in the last six years, but this year made AYP for the first time using Keys to Reading Success for only six months. Supt. Dr. Doris Langon said, “In this high poverty, high minority district, I wanted a program that would identify why our students were not meeting state standards and provide a solution to the problem. Keys to Reading Success had proven results and raised our scores quickly. We were excited that this year we made AYP.” Keys to Reading Success has proven to raise 88-98% of K-12 students from two to five grade levels in reading in 6-8 months (including regular education, special education, Title I, ELL, ADD, kinesthetic learners, and gifted students).

Dieterich School in District 131, East Aurora, a school with a 83% Spanish-speaking population, used Keys to Reading Success this year and not only met AYP, but their reading scores were the third highest in their district. Principal Gwen Miller said, “Keys to Reading Success and its accelerated way of teaching phonics helped our Spanish-speaking students quickly learn to read English, The reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and test-taking strategies gave them the skills to raise reading performance. Keys to Reading Success has made the difference for us, and I highly recommend it to any school that wants to raise reading test scores in a short amount of time.”

The Chicago Bulls opened a Reading and Learning center at W.H. Brown Elementary School in Chicago, and Keys to Reading Success was donated to the school at a ribbon -cutting ceremony attended by Bulls players, Luol Deng, Tyrus Thomas, and P.J. Brown. The school is using Keys to Reading Success to help make AYP.

Keys to Reading Success is an Internet-based program available to elementary, middle, and high schools, pre-schools, colleges, and parents. Its Superlinks to Accelerated Learning test finds each student’s fastest way of learning any subject, and has been used by Kaplan On-line University; MSF, a large financial institution; and Liberty University’s football team to have a winning season and raise college academic performance.
